On Edge

I'm standing here on the edge of my own humanity

And I don't know which side to choose

I want to be a god

I want to carve my existence into this world

But to do so I have to leave myself behind

Am I ok with no longer being human myself?

If I love only humans then does that mean that I will come to hate myself in time as well if I'm not one of them?

Or maybe I can continue to walk this fine line

Not quite a human but not quite a monster either.
